Mr. John Tyler Hammons
Partner focused on Business Law, Estate Planning, and Government
John Tyler Hammons is an attorney in Muskogee and a founding partner at Hammons Hamby & Price. He represents clients in commercial transactions, estate planning, and real estate matters.
A fourth-generation Oklahoman and an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Mr. Hammons was elected as the 47th Mayor of the city of Muskogee, serving two terms from 2008 to 2012. First elected at the age of 19, he is among the youngest mayors in American history. While at City Hall, Mr. Hammons focused on economic development and infrastructure improvements. After graduating from law school, he served his tribe as an Assistant Attorney General of the Cherokee Nation before founding our firm.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mr. Hammons is admitted to practice law in the courts of the state of Oklahoma, all United States District Courts in Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, the courts of the Cherokee Nation, the courts of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and the courts of the Choctaw Nation.
Mr. Hammons currently serves as the City Attorney for Checotah, McAlester, and Tahlequah. He is the General Counsel for Muskogee County. Mr. Hammons presides as an Assistant Municipal Judge in Muskogee and Fort Gibson.

Mr. Matthew R. Price
Partner focused on Criminal Defense
Matthew R. Price is an attorney in Muskogee and a founding partner at Hammons Hamby & Price. He represents clients in criminal defense.
After attending law school, Mr. Price joined the law firm of Matthew Neill Davis, PLLC in Enid, Oklahoma, where he handled criminal defense and family law matters. Mr. Price returned to Muskogee in 2016 to serve as an Assistant District Attorney for Muskogee County where he served until founding our firm. While at the District Attorney's Office, he focused on prosecuting both felony and misdemeanor domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking cases.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mr. Price is admitted to practice law in the courts of the state of Oklahoma, the courts of Muscogee (Creek) Nation, the courts of Cherokee Nation, and all United States District Courts in Oklahoma.
Mr. Price serves as a criminal public defender for the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System in Muskogee, McIntosh, and Wagoner counties. Mr. Price is the Involuntary Commitment Counsel and Public Guardian Counsel in Muskogee County.
Mr. Price assists clients in Cherokee and Muscogee (Creek) Nations District Court. Muskogee, Wagoner, Sequoyah, and McIntosh County District Courts. Other jurisdictions on a case by case basis.

Mr. Jeremy K. Hamby
Partner focused on Family Law
Jeremy K. Hamby is an attorney in Muskogee and a founding partner at Hammons Hamby & Price. He represents clients in family law matters, Social Security Disability cases, and bankruptcy.
An enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Mr. Hamby served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Cherokee Nation prior to founding our firm. Prior to law school, Jeremy worked for the Cherokee Nation Indian Child Welfare. His time working in child welfare is what influenced him to become an attorney so he could better serve his tribe.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas College of Law, Mr. Hamby is admitted to practice law in the courts of the state of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for Eastern Oklahoma, and the courts of the Cherokee Nation.
Mr. Hamby serves as criminal public defender in Cherokee Nation. Mr. Hamby is the Cherokee County Juvenile Deprived counsel. Mr. Hamby serves as the City Attorney for Gore. He presides as the Municipal Judge in Gore.
Mr. Hamby assists clients in Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek), and Keetowah Nations District Court. Muskogee and Cherokee County District Courts. Other jurisdictions on a case by case basis.

Ms. Angie O'Neal
Office Manager and Assistant to Mr. Hammons
Angie O'Neal is an executive assistant at Hammons Hamby & Price. She provides full support services to our firm's attorneys and is the office manager and assistant for Mr. Hammons in his role as City Attorney of McAlester.
Ms. O'Neal has over twenty years of experience in administrative leadership, including expertise in office management, travel and event planning, account management, and client relationships. Before joining our firm, she worked with Mr. Hammons as his executive assistant in the Mayor's Office at the City of Muskogee.

Ms. Kassandra Quistian

Kassandra Quistian is an executive assistant at Hammons Hamby & Price. She provides full support services to our firm's attorneys and is the primary paralegal for Mr. Price and Mr. Hamby.
Ms. Quistian has almost a decade of customer service, serving in administrative support roles in several professional offices throughout the Muskogee community. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ms. Quistian is deeply connected to the Muskogee Latin community. The daughter of Mexican immigrants who started their own small business, Ms. Quistian exemplifies the American dream.

Jessica Reyes is an executive assistant at Hammons Hamby & Price. She provides full support services to our firm's attorneys and is the primary paralegal for Mr. Hammons.
Ms. Reyes has spent the last decade in management support roles throughout the Muskogee community. A proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Ms. Reyes has extensive experience managing court cases and working with court staff. She has been a Muskogee County resident all of her life, and loves being a part of our community.
